My old Cheapsabers site
This was back when I was actually trying to make money off of this. Didn't work too well. Now I'm doing it as a self-supporting hobby, and I think it works better this way. A lot less stressful, and fewer, but happier customers. :)
Big Yellow Box sabers
This site has several really good looking saber designs, and it has step-by-step instructions on how to make them. I prefer to do my own myself, but I've found a few good ideas there that have helped me develop my own style.
Advanced-Light Weaponry
This site has some damn good looking stuff, but it's expensive, and it's mostly looks, not as much functionality. He does some really good looking metallic airbrushing too, something I might try eventually. But paint can fade and chip, which is why I like to use plastic, metal and rubber for my sabers. :)
But this site makes all kinds of sabers, straight and metallic, lumpy and organic, curved and artistic, just about anything you'd want. It just happens to cost about 5 times what my sabers do. He even has sabers that can be stripped down like it was a real saber. Now that takes a lot of work to develop something like that.
Blast-Tech
For kits to make movie replicas, or pieces for the replicas that are hard to find this is the place to go. They make replicas of parts that you just can't find anymore.
Padawan's Guide
This site has instructions and ideas for costume construction, and even a bit about sabers. Very good site for the do-it-yourself jedi.
