Custom saber galleries
Welcome to Cheapsabers, your source for affordable costuming and fan film props. Most of this site will be a gallery of sabers I have made in the past, but there will be links to custom sabers currently being made and sold.

These sabers are starting from when I started back up making sabers. Now that I have a better idea of what the hell I'm doing, these are better quality than my previous sabers. These are all ones that I've sold on ebay since I started up again.

This was a rather interesting one I made, it's very small and made for one handed use. What makes it so interesting is the hand-sculpted grip. I made it out of sculpey, baked it to harden it, and then added two layers of black rubber on top for cushioning and color. It was made with a fencing style in mind, although it would also work well with a short one handed blade style, like kung fu broadsword, or as an off-hand weapon like a dirk.
I also made a sheath to go with it, the first I've ever done.

This was one that I was hoping I'd be able to add electronics too, but it just got too complicated. Maybe next time.
This saber was made to seem a bit more organic than most sabers, and less machined. It has a ridged rubber grip, which I originally had as blue, but it was too bright so I dulled the color down to a greyish blue. A power coupling runs from the base of the saber to the top, and almost serves as a hand guard as well. It is fairly short, made for a single handed grip. Beyond that... well, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
